In the previous article, we said that if the editor is not an expert in the field in which the book is written, he or she will send the manuscript to someone who is an expert in the scientific field to check its level, accuracy, and structure. In various publishing houses, this person is called a referee, a reviewer, and an evaluator, and for some reason we prefer the name evaluator. It is clear that there is not much need for the evaluator's opinion in translated texts, and the several-month activity of the Committee for Translation, Authoring and Proofreading of Academic Books, which is mainly about the translation of books, has also revealed this point. However, since the work of authoring scientific books has already begun and it is hoped that in the future the publication of academic and specialized books and journals will be based mainly on authorship by Iranian experts, it seems necessary to clarify the relationships and rules of cooperation between these three major pillars of book editing work (author, editor, and evaluator).
