Al-Ghazali's famous book, Tahafat al-Falasifa, is a complete commentary on the teachings of previous philosophers and Islamic philosophers, especially Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina. In this book, he claims to have dealt severe blows to the body of philosophy, calling it baseless, weak, and baseless. An evaluation of the criticisms and reasons for the shallowness of the philosophers requires a detailed and detailed explanation, which we will leave for another time. In addition to writing the book Tahafat, Ghazali wrote another book called Maqasid al-Falasifah, in which he explained a period of logic, natural wisdom, and divine wisdom in a very simple and clear language, without in any way refuting or contradicting the opinions of philosophers, and his purpose was only to narrate and report. I think Ghazali had two purposes in writing this book. One is that the followers of philosophy should not consider him ignorant and ignorant in philosophy and should not consider his hostility to philosophy as "man is an enemy to what he is ignorant of" and see how he is devoid of the spirit of philosophy and the depth of the opinions of the sages. Because it is impossible for someone not to understand philosophy correctly and to do so Bring simplicity, clarity, and directness to its expression. Another thing is that anyone who deals with the book of Tahaft should first read the book of Maqasid so that he can first understand correctly what the philosophers' intention is and then become aware of the gaps and gaps in the book of Tahaft. Indeed, if someone is not well aware of a system of thought, how can he understand its rejection or try to refute it himself? Like some of our contemporaries who attack, reject, and deny it without even reading four or five pages of Aristotelian logic.
